Which California residencies have a new grad Med-Surg track?
40 programs we track name one on their own page or job posting: Alameda Health System, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, City of Hope, Community Regional Medical Center, Dameron Hospital, Desert Regional Medical Center and 34 more. When do they open?
It depends on the hospital. Most take applications only a few times a year. Right now, 2 of the 40 programs here are taking applications. Coming up: 4 in October, 4 in November, 3 in December, 1 in January 2027, with 4 more after that. These come from posted dates and each hospital's usual yearly calendar. The other 22 have not posted dates we could find.
Can ADN grads apply?
7 of the 40 programs here say an ADN graduate can apply: UC San Diego Health, Stanford Health Care, French Hospital Medical Center, Marian Regional Medical Center, Children's Hospital Los Angeles and 2 more. 7 say you need a BSN or an entry-level MSN. 26 have not stated a degree rule we could find. That does not mean no, so check their page.
