Which California residencies have a new grad ICU track?
32 programs we track name one on their own page or job posting: City of Hope, Community Regional Medical Center, Desert Regional Medical Center, Dominican Hospital, Emanuel Medical Center, French Hospital Medical Center and 26 more. Tracks can change with each round, so check the program's page before you apply.
When do they open?
It depends on the hospital. Most take applications only a few times a year. Right now, 1 of the 32 programs here is taking applications. Coming up: 4 in October, 3 in November, 3 in December, 1 in January 2027, with 2 more after that. These come from posted dates and each hospital's usual yearly calendar. The other 18 have not posted dates we could find.
Can ADN grads apply?
4 of the 32 programs here say an ADN graduate can apply: UC San Diego Health, Stanford Health Care, French Hospital Medical Center and Marian Regional Medical Center. 4 say you need a BSN or an entry-level MSN. 24 have not stated a degree rule we could find. That does not mean no, so check their page.
