- 16-month pediatric RN Residency with 1:1 hands-on preceptorship on the home unit plus a pediatric didactic curriculum. BSN required within two years of completing the residency; under 6 months of acute care experience. IMPORTANT: CHOC announced it will NOT offer RN Residency cohorts for August 2026 or February 2027 because current staffing levels and limited positions do not support a new cohort.
